Our students have the opportunity to access a weekly Art Program with a Specialist Art Teacher.

The Art Room is a large space built as part of the Victorian Government's school building projects in 2024.

Students engage in a range of Art activities.

Some include: Working with primary colours, mixing colours, choosing colours, using different painting techniques, collage creation, stamping and printing.

Visual aids are made available for communication. Art work is put on display in the room and some areas around the school.

Students take their electronic communication devices or preferred communication aids to their Art session to use for communication and to enhance their learning.

Students are also given the opportunity to create their own versions of work inspired by famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh.
