Middle school and Senior school students participate in the Physical education program. The program builds on the concepts covered in the Perceptual Motor Program which is provided to junior school students.
All middle and senior school students participate in one Physical Education session each week which aims to develop body awareness, coordination, gross motor skills, teamwork, game sense, healthy choices, fitness and ability to follow directions.
Through the South-East Special Schools Sports Association (SSSSA) and the Southern All Abilities Basketball League (SAABL), students have the opportunity to participate in the inter-school sport program. This allows students to engage in sports such as basketball, gymnastics, soccer, bowls, cricket and hockey, as well as yearly ‘come and try’ days for tennis and golf.
Inter-school sport provides students with fantastic opportunities to display the school’s values of being safe, respectful and responsible learners within the local community.
